Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward Mr. C. Blake did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Hopsing was quick to begin.
Hopsing, Love A Chat and Call Me Britney collided on the first turn checking Love A Chat. Brave Hearted checked off Sugar Bear approaching the home turn. Sugar Bear raced wide entering the home straight. Hopsing and Call Me Britney collided entering the home straight. Call Me Britney marred Hopsing in the home straight.
Trainer Mr. G. Hansen declined to have the greyhound Call Me Britney vetted following the event. Stewards spoke to Mr. Hansen, the trainer of the greyhound Call Me Britney regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Call Me Britney with marring. Mr. Hansen pleaded guilty to the charge, Call Me Britney was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
