Bon Mic's Bullet checked off Damo's Pineapple soon after the start. Great Success checked off My Territory approaching the first turn. Damo's Pineapple and Clovalley Arnie collided approaching the first turn checking Clovalley Arnie which lost ground as a result. Damo's Pineapple checked off Great Success on the first turn. Clovalley Arnie raced wide on the home turn.
Clovalley Arnie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound cramped post race, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
