Kalgoorlie Kid and Magic Euphoria were slow to begin.
Kalgoorlie Kid checked off Magic Euphoria approaching the first turn. Severus Grange and Tuscan Dream collided on the first turn. Kalgoorlie Kid checked off Petite Harbour on the home turn.

MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr P. Gabriel, the trainer of Foxy Whip regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Foxy Whip last raced on 12 February 2018 and is returning from a right monkey muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Foxy Whip trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weighing 27.4kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.72, the greyhound won by a margin of 4 3/4 lengths. Foxy Whip was Cleared.
