Stewards spoke to Mr G. Gieschan, the representative of So Like Sooty regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. So Like Sooty last raced on 11 March 2018 and is returning from a right front tendon injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from So Like Sooty.
Manila Sprite and Wyaxehi were slow to begin.
Zipping Dozer, Brindle Daisy and Silver Dollar collided soon after the start. Tantalise and Manila Sprite collided soon after the start checking Manila Sprite. Silver Dollar and Zipping Dozer collided approaching the first turn. So Like Sooty and Brindle Daisy collided on the first turn. Tantalise and White Fernando collided on the first turn. So Like Sooty and Brindle Daisy collided approaching the home turn. Manila Sprite checked off White Fernando approaching the home turn. So Like Sooty checked off Brindle Daisy approaching the home turn checking So Like Sooty. Wyaxehi and Zipping Dozer collided on the home turn.
So Like Sooty was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
