Steward's Report
She's Our Poppy was a late scratching at 11:59am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a left split pad. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Comets Gold.
It's Debatable and Comets Gold were slow to begin.
Water Pistol checked off Gee Dalton on the first turn severely checking Blunderbuss and Comets Gold causing both greyhounds to fall.
Blunderbuss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury and a spike wound to the left foot and right calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Comets Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metacarpal fracture, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
