Stewards spoke to Mrs J. Reynolds, the trainer of Gracie's Colour regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Gracie's Colour last raced on 29 April 2018 and is returning from a right back muscle injury. Mrs Reynolds also declared a new weight of 26.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gracie's Colour last raced at 27.3kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gracie's Colour.
Swift Abbey was slow to begin.
Zarbo Hustler and Harvey Warbanger collided soon after the start checking Zarbo Hustler causing Zarbo Hustler to lose ground. Over The Horizon and Gracie's Colour collided approaching the first turn.
