Stewards spoke to Mrs J. Reynolds, the trainer of Gracie's Colour regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Gracie's Colour last raced on 29 April 2018 and is returning from a right back muscle injury. Mrs Reynolds also declared a new weight of 26.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gracie's Colour last raced at 27.3kgs.

It's Debatable and Comets Gold were slow to begin.

Water Pistol checked off Gee Dalton on the first turn severely checking Blunderbuss and Comets Gold causing both greyhounds to fall.

Blunderbuss was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury and a spike wound to the left foot and right calf, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Comets Gold was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right metacarpal fracture, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Little Bala and Apila Cash were slow to begin.

Dr. Annie and She's Got Dash collided soon after the start checking Dr. Annie.  Unusable and She's Got Dash collided on the first turn checking Unusable.  She's Got Dash checked off Gone Early approaching the home turn severely checking She's Got Dash and Apila Cash checking Dr. Annie causing She's Got Dash to stumble.

Stewards spoke to Mrs D. Selleck the representative of Hooded Troyer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hooded Troyer last raced on 10 April 2018 and is returning from a right dew claw injury.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dewana Hand trialled over the 460mtrs from box 3, weight 31.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 26:14, the greyhound won by a margin of 5 1/2 lengths.  Dewana Hand was Cleared.
