Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin. Cut Snake was slow to begin. Gunmetal Liam and Cut Snake collided on the first turn. Blue Magnum galloped on the heels of Oshkosh Jay on the first turn checking Oshkosh Jay, Quick Defence and Gunmetal Liam. Quick Defence and Gunmetal Liam collided approaching the home turn. Quick Defence checked off Gunmetal Liam on the home turn. Parish Power and Rhomboid crossed out and raced wide in the home straight.
Oshkosh Jay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind medial toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
