Roman Zanti underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Rosie Cotton crossed in soon after the start checking Piparae.  Boney Power and Kramer Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Piparae and Monty Python collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Boney Power, Piparae and Monty Python collided on the first turn checking Boney Power and Piparae.  Chase 'Em Spolly checked off Rosie Cotton approaching the home turn.  Flash Logie and Kramer Bale collided approaching the home turn.

Zipping Chance, Dyna Eleana and Golden Romance collided soon after the start.  Terrah Round and Golden Romance collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Eleana and severely checking Zipping Chance.  Golden Romance and Busy Bella collided on the first turn checking Golden Romance.  Terrah Round and Busy Bella collided approaching the home turn checking Busy Bella.  Terrah Round checked off Knock The Clock in the home straight checking Friend In Me. 

Red Queen - Late scratching at 5.53pm under GAR 37 (4) on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to have fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Weeping Angel.

Inter Lana, Weeping Angel, Weeona Gina and That Will Be collided approaching the first turn checking Inter Lana and That Will Be.  That Will Be, Inter Lana and Shaina Cabang collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Weeona Gina and Weeping Angel collided on the home turn.  Inter Lana raced wide in the home straight.

Dundee Ace, Crossfire Icon and Harvey Warbanger were quick to begin.

Crossfire Icon and Harvey Warbanger collided soon after the start.  Sam's Spolly, Stylish Missile, Rapanui Surprise and Belleperi Miss collided approaching the first turn checking Stylish Missile and Rapanui Surprise.  Stylish Missile and Rapanui Surprise collided several times on the first turn and again on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Stylish Missile raced wide in the home straight.

Pagan Dancer and Especial Shiraz collided approaching the first turn checking Pagan Dancer.  Soda Flakes and Bubbles collided approaching the first turn checking Soda Flakes.  Jokare and Especial Shiraz collided on the first turn checking Especial Shiraz and Newfire Drewie.  Pagan Dancer and Bubbles collided on the home turn.

Zoro Bale was slow to begin. 

Yuken Merry and Galway Icon collided soon after the start.  Newfire Chelle and Jessie's Star collided soon after the start.  Yuken Win, Galway Icon, Jugungal Black and Newfire Chelle collided approaching the first turn severely Jugungal Black, Newfire Chelle and Jessie's Star, Newfire Chelle fell as a result.  Jessie's Star and Maximum Bliss raced wide in the home straight.

Jugungal Black underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Newfire Chelle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an open fractured radius/ulna injury.  Newfire Chelle was humanely euthanased.

Mrs M. Mallia-margi was fined $50 for failing to ensure the correct registration card was produced for the greyhound Quest For Glory pursuant to GAR 33.

A pre-race sample was taken from She's Gifted.

Lucky Millie, Yelredda Saint and Lottie Glenda were slow to begin.  Perfect Project was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Lucky Millie and Yelredda saint collided approaching the first turn.  Major Amor and Quest For Glory collided on the first turn.  Yelredda Saint and Lottie Glenda collided on the first turn.  Quest For Glory, Yelredda Saint and Major Amor collided on the first turn checking Major Amor.  Major Amor and Perfect Project collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke the Mr F. Vassallo the trainer of Lucky Mille and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding the closing of the box lids in a more timely manner when boxing his greyhound in accordance with GAR 51(9).

Why Not Leo was quick to begin.  Ants In Pants, Kel Knight and Mustang Tully were slow to begin.

Dyna Winter, Amanda Lee and Mustang Tully collided soon after the start.  Aron Allen checked off Amanda Lee on the first turn and collided with Kel Knight checking both greyhounds.

Meehan Phil and Naughty Cazza were slow to begin.

Naughty Cazza, Charcoal Avenue and Hardaway Outlaw collided approaching the first turn checking Charcoal Avenue and Naughty Cazza.  Meehan Phil checked off Lady Alliance on the first turn checking Hardaway Outlaw.  Hardaway Outlaw and Naughty Cazza collided on the home turn.  

Trainer Mr R. Cunneen requested that Snip Snap undergo a post-race veterinary examination. Snip Snap was found to have a right hock sprain.  A 7day stand down period was imposed.
