Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Raymond Drew, the trainer of Kirabilli Poppy, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kirabilli Poppy last raced on 17 March 2018. Mr Drew stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.
Mr David Graham, trainer of Whatta Lady, declared a new weight of 27.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Whatta Lady last raced at 26.4kg.
Sooki La Rico, Firelight Twist and Almani Tee Rex collided soon after the start. Sooki La Rico checked off Firelight Twist on the first turn. Maniac Matilda and Murrabit Sammy collided approaching the home turn, checking Maniac Matilda. Sooki La Rico checked off Whatta Lady entering the home straight. Miss Brew and Almani Tee Rex raced wide in the home straight. Maniac Matilda raced wide approaching the winning post.
