Galos' Best was quick to begin.
Jellybean Jess, Agent Osti and Primrose Diamond collided soon after the start, checking Jellybean Jess which fell as a result. Rocket Riley and Reverend John collided on the first turn, checking Rocket Riley. Cette To Dance checked off Primrose Diamond approaching the home turn. Rocket Riley raced wide in the home straight.
Jellybean Jess which left the course prior to being vetted will be required to be presented to an On-course Veterinarian before its next race start.
Supplementary Report: Jellybean Jess was vetted at Geelong on Thursday 2 August 2018. It was reported that Jellybean Jess had no apparent injury and was fit to race.
