Lonnie Danger checked off Zanthre Allen approaching the home turn. Our Magic Turbo checked off Lonnie Danger approaching the home turn. Wok Fried Yabby checked off Line Trick in the home straight.

Air Commander, Maximum Lara and Garku Bale collided soon after the start checking Garku Bale. Ace's Fab checked off Wok Djay entering the back straight. You're Welcome and Maximum Lara collided approaching the home turn checking You're Welcome. You're Wlecome and Wok Djay collided in the home straight. Wok Djay and Ace's Fab collided in the home straight.

Broulee Miss was slow to begin.

Dum Didee Dum and Topaz Warrior collided soon after the start checking Dum Didee Dum. Dream Boulevard and Leeroy Rox collided soon after the start. Honestly Bob and Topaz Warrior collided approaching the first turn checking Topaz Warrior. Dum Didee Dum, Topaz Warrior and Honestly Bob collided on the first turn checking Honestly Bob. Topaz Warrior checked off Leeroy Rox approaching the home turn. Dum Didee Dum and Topaz Warrior collided approaching the home turn. Broulee Miss and Leeroy Rox collided approaching the winning post checking Broulee Miss.

Lucus The Great was a late scratching at 11.04am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr E Hamilton  was fined the sum of $100.

Whiney Whine was slow to begin.

Coco Spectre crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Three Scoops. Zipping Floyd checked off Go Ekay on the first turn checking Three Scoops and severely checking Zipping Floyd which fell as a result. Three Scoops checked off Go Ekay entering the back straight.

Zipping Floyd was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Whiney Whine became dislodged during the running of the event.

Pius Thicknesse and Tankalicious were slow to begin.

Pius Thicknesse, Tankalicious and I'm Circus collided soon after the start. Bakali Louis and Henessey Venom collided on the first turn, checking Bakali Louis. You Aussie checked off Laile Brobio approaching the home turn. Knocker's Gold checked off You Aussie approaching the home turn checking Plus Thicknesse. Bakali Louis eased in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Ms M Shaw, the handler of the greyhound Bakali Louis regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Bakali Louis was vetted following the event and re vetted following race 7.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Bakali Louis with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Shaw pleaded guilty to the charge, Bakali Louis was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Geopark Ruby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sergeant Schultz was slow to begin.

Spring Bomber checked off Dyna Jerry soon after the start. Spring Bomber, Tantalise and El Grand Knocka collided on the first turn, checking Tanalise and Spring Bomber. I'm A Princess checked off Dyna Jerry entering the back straight checking Spring Bomber and Tantalise. Spring Bomber checked off I'm A Princess in the back straight. El Grand Knocka and Nymphadora Tonks collided approaching the home turn checking El Grand Knocka. I'm A Princess checked off Dyna Jerry entering the home straight. Spring Bomber and Sergeant Schultz raced wide in the home straight.

Shannon Allen and Lance Allen collided soon after the start. Wise Lewis and Apache Flame collided soon after the start. Hot Devil and Bottoms Up collided on the first turn checking Bottoms Up, Lylah's Way, Lance Allen, Wise Lewis and Apache Flame. Fleur Delacour checked off Lylah's Way approaching the home turn. Lance Allen checked off Apache Flame approaching the home turn. Lance Allen and Lylah's Way collided in the home straight.

Squishy Pea galloped on the heels of Shoot To Miss on the first turn checking Shoot To Miss. Shoot To Miss and Squishy Pea collided on the home turn checking Ball Bearing. Squishy Pea Shoot To Miss  collided on the home straight checking Shoot To Miss. Shoot To Miss and Ball Bearing collided on the home straight checking both greyhounds.Tyson's A Rebel raced wide in the home straight. Maximum Jan was quick to begin.

Run It Straight crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Loch Monster. Alezan checked off Winsome Express soon after the start. Alezan and Hannibal Spectre collided on the first turn checking Alezan. Darren Allen checked off Loch Monster on the home turn. Darren Allen checked off Winsome Express entering the home straight checking Run It Straight. 

Arnie Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Joanie's Johnny was slow to begin.

Manzeene Man and Layback Cruiser collided soon after the start. Tiggerlong Ring and Chrissy Pee collided soon after the start. White Ambush and Layback Cruiser collided entering the home straight. White Ambush checked off Layback Cruiser in the home straight and collided with Banjo Fever as a result.

Frosty Snowman was slow to begin.

Maximum Bliss was quick to begin.

Kirabilli Poppy and Smart Mary collided approaching the first turn checking Smart Mary. Scott Pizzazz, Frosty Snowman and Smart Mary collided on the first turn severly checking Scott Pizzazz. Smart Mary checked off Kirabilli Poppy in the home straight.

Scott Pizzazz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured toe and a injury to the left quadriceps, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments:

Re-Vetted Greyhound - Raloo Barbara was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race. Acting under GAR83, Stewards directed that a urine sample be taken from the greyhound.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr D Brennan, the trainer of Far Sighted regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Far Sighted last raced on 24th December 2018. Mr D Brennan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a stopper injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Far Sighted trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 33.2kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.56, the greyhound was beaten a margin of neck. Far Sighted was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms D Carr, the trainer of Puzzles regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Puzzles  last raced on 27th December 2018. Ms Carr stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Puzzles trialled over the 390m from box 6, weight 27.9kg , the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.56, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5L Puzzles was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms S Galea, the trainer of Vancouver Star regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Vancouver Star last raced on 27th February 2018. Ms Galea stated that the greyhound was returing to racing following a back muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Vancouver Star trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 32.5kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.56, the greyhound won by a margin of a neck. Vancouver Star was Cleared.
