Steward's Report
Pre-race samples were taken from Master Reid, Sorenstam and Hilux upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Sorenstam and Luke's Gift were slow to begin. Plumcad, Menindee and Hilux collided approaching the first turn, checking Menindee. Menindee crossed to the rail appraoching the home turn, checking Master Reid. Voodoo Hustler and Luke's Gift collided in the home straight. Menindee and Luke's Gift collided in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Plumcad - the winner of the event.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Brock Wilson, the trainer of Monaleen Tex, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Mr Wilson stated that the greyhound had changed kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Monaleen Tex trialled over the 410m from box two, weight 34.5 kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 24:39 the greyhound won by a margin of 10.5 lengths. Monaleen Tex was Cleared.
