Steward's Report
Pre-race samples were taken from Faster Bolt and Jar Man upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Pre-race samples were taken from Fernando Drums and Crymelon Kit.
Crymelon Kit checked off Atlantic Rose on the first turn. Faster Bolt raced wide from the first turn to the home turn. Jar Man raced wide on the home turn. Kiss Me Boss faltered in the home straight, fell and failed to finish.
Kiss Me Boss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a suspected vascular incident and was humanely euthanased. As a result, Stewards took a sample from the greyhound and an autopsy will be conducted in accordance with GAR 78.
A sample was taken from Atlantic Rose - second placegetter in the event.
