Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Aye Crying Shame engaged in this event on 29 June, 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Dreamliner and Delta's Tiara were slow to begin. Diamond Icon crossed in soon after the start checking Fazzel Reale and Aye Crying Shame. Fazzel Reale and Aye Crying Shame collided approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Diamond Icon was checked off Dreamliner on the first turn. Select All was checked off Dreamliner in the back straight. Moncrieffe Miss was checked off Dreamliner on the second turn.
Torh Minter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Fazzel Reale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have the thumps, no stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Lesjak the trainer of the greyhound Fazzel Reale. Stewards deemed the performance of Fazzel Reale unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Fazzel Reale must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any nomination will be accepted.
