Steward's Report

Zipping Chaser was quick to begin.  Zipping Mack and He Shall Fred collided soon after the start.  Zipping Mack and Rocky Ravioli collided on the first turn.  He Shall Fred and Percy's Empire collided on the first turn, severely checking He Shall Fred, Ocean View, Rocky Ravioli and Noaki Colour.  Zipping Chaser and Jacqui Shoshone collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Collins, Handler of Zipping Chaser, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  After taking into account Mr Collins' submissions and reviewing the head on footage, Stewards took no further action.

Supplementary Report:

Stewards resumed an inquiry with Mrs A Dailly regarding the late scratching of Dyna Wink from the Meadows on the 29th of May 2019. Stewards at the Meadows yesterday spoke to Mrs A Dailly, Ms C Heinrich, and Mr T Dailly regarding the scratching where it was established that Mr Dailly believed the greyhound had kennel cough when he checked it at 7am, however forgot to scratch the greyhound from the event. Stewards requested a veterinary certificate for Dyna Wink, which was received today the 30th of May, from the Bannockburn Veterinary Clinic, confirming the presence of kennel cough. Stewards lifted the 28 day stand down placed on the greyhound due to its non-arrival, however issued a fine of $250 to the trainer of Dyna Wink, Mrs A Dailly.
