A pre-race sample was taken from Jerra Lilly.
Sharp Missile, Jerra Lilly and Thumbs collided on the first turn, checking Sharp Missile and Jerra Lilly. Sharp Missile and Aston Jynx collided approaching the home turn. Thumbs crossed to the rail on the home turn, causing Eureka Creek to gallop on Thumbs, causing Pure Cool Titan and Thumbs to fall, checking Diego Fernando, severely checking Aston Jynx and Jerra Lilly.
Pure Cool Titan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a extensor muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
