Foul Snooker and My Mascara collided entering the home straight, checking Foul Snooker. Guevara and Nimble Nala collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. 

Peter Baqui checked off Atlantic Jewel soon after the start. Tickle My Fancy checked off Speckie Mckean on the first turn, checking Tickle My Fancy. Stylish Bree, Atlantic Jewel and Tat Warby collided approaching the home turn, checking Tat Warby, Peter Baqui, severely checking Stylish Bree, Atlantic Jewel and causing Tickle My Fancy to race wide. Tat Warby checked off Spolly James entering the home straight.

Allusion galloped on the heels of Swift Current approaching the first turn, severely checking Allusion, causing Ultra Light to gallop on the heels of Allusion which fell as a result, checking Get It Gizmo and Bunning Snag. Tourello tired in the concluding stages of the event.

Time Saver and Kinloch Breeze collided on the home turn, checking Shellbrook and Maximum Lara. Dyna Gabba – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Sandown for failing to chase. Weighing 24.5kg and beginning from box 1, Dyna Gabba completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.09. Dyna Gabba placed 4th in a field of four starters beaten by 24.75 lengths. Dyna Gabba has been not cleared to race due to the greyhound sustaining a injury in the trial. 

Dyna Gabba underwent a post-trial veterinary examination and was found to have a grade three tear to the right triangle muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Connections advised Stewards that they will be retiring the greyhound.

Off The Bit – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right achilles tendon injury. Weighing 35.2kg and beginning from box 8, Off The Bit completed the 390m trial distance in a time of 22.09. Off The Bit was placed 1st in a field of four starters winning by 8.5 lengths. Off The Bit has been cleared to race.
