Amigo One underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and right wrist sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Weighing 27.1kg and beginning from box 8, Kraken Jane Babe completed the 425m trial distance in a time of 24.91. Kraken Jane Babe placed 4th in a field of 4 beaten by 2 lengths. Kraken Jane Babe has been cleared to race at all tracks.
