Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Schatzie Armo upon arrival at the course.
Winlock Blue Boy was slow to begin.
Yenderra Blue faltered soon after the start and tailed off. Gojek crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Schatzie Armo. Dream Boulevard and Schatzie Armo collided approaching the home turn checking Schatzie Armo. Down Mexico Way galloped on the heels of Atlas True Blue on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Schatzie Armo checked off Dream Boulevard on the home turn.
Yenderra Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Gojek - the winner of the event.
Meeting Comments:
Double Buxton – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Gosford for an unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 32.9kg and beginning from box 6, Double Buxton completed the 500mt trial distance in a time of 28.96. Double Buxton placed 4th in a field of 4 beaten by 4L. Double Buxton has been cleared to race at all tracks except Gosford.
