Colorado checked off Why Not Kez soon after the start.  Ruby's Cheekstar and Benny's Entity collided approaching the first turn checking Ruby's Cheekstar.  Why Not Kez, Busy Bella and Mid Life Crisis collided on the first turn checking Mid Life Crisis, severely checking Benny's Entity; causing Colorado to pulled up, Boycey Road to tailed off and Why Not Kez to fall.  Go Gettem Bingo and Busy Bella collided in the back straight.

Boycey Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Why Not Kez underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. 

Colorado underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an open fracture to the left radius and ulna. Colorado was humanely euthanised.

Bolta Neveelk and Water Colour collided on the first turn.  Crossfire Icon and Annie Lava collided in the back straight.  Water Colour checked off Bolta Neveelk on the home turn.  Water Colour and Zipping Galon collided approaching the winning post.

Vanishka – Late scratching at 6pm when trainer Mrs M. Brown, reported the greyhound to have an illness - Diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Kissable, Fernando's Riot and Lylah's Way were slow to begin.

Sable Sass, Kiss Me Razley and Lockrod collided approaching the first turn checking Kiss Me Razley.  Kissable checked off Sable Sass on the first turn.  Kiss Me Razley and Lylah's Way collided on the second turn.  Lockrod checked off Fernando's Riot in the back straight.

Benali - Performed an exhibition trial over the 515m from box 1, weighing 33.3kg in a time of 1st split (5.12), 2nd split (19.87) overall time (30.909).

Benali underwent a post-trial veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hind back muscle and the left deltoid muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Spectre and Western Envoy were slow to begin.

Western Envoy and One Step Forward collided soon after the start.  One Step Forward, Muzzle Welsh and Zipping Magda collided on the first turn severely checking One Step Forward, Zipping Murphy, Muzzle Welsh and Mepunga Spectre causing Muzzle Welsh and Mepunga Spectre to stumble.  Zipping Murphy and One Step Forward collided on the third turn.

Muzzle Welsh underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both triangle muscles. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Spectre underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.
