Dyna Winter was quick to begin.
Dyna Owen crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Holly's Affair and Kel Knight collided on the first turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Dyna Winter - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Burns the handler of Layback Cruiser regarding boxing his greyhound first and to be mindful of other dogs and trainers when stepping back. Mr Burns stated that the greyhound caused his back to jar while boxing and when he stood up be became unbalanced. Stewards excepted Mr Burns’ explanation.
