Steward's Report
Plain Name – Late scratching at 12:12am due to a virus (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards spoke to owner Mr. J. Vandemaat regarding the late scratching of Plain Name who stated that upon checking the greyhound overnight he found him to be lethargic and suffering from diarrhoea.
Kraken Risky was slow to begin. Hardaway George, Rival Natalie and Moyarra Whiz collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Kraken Risky raced wide on the home turn.
Post-race samples were taken from Moyarra Whiz (1st) and Hardaway George (2nd).
