Anise and Almapa Berisha were slow to begin.

Anise crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide for the remainder of the event. Wayne's Way and Sam I'm Mikado collided soon after the start. Sam I'm Mikado, Rockin' Rosco and Secret Package collided soon after the start. Wayne's Way and Sam I'm Mikado collided approaching the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Sam I'm Mikado checked off Secret Package at the 250m mark checking Wayne's Way. Almapa Berisha and Solar Charge collided at the 250m mark causing Almapa Berisha to contact the running rail. Rockin' Rosco and Wayne's Way collided at the 250m mark.

Montey Jack was slow to begin.

High Kings crossed to the inside soon after the start colliding with Elite Poppy and Tansy and severely checking Elite Poppy who stumbled and lost ground to the result. Montey Jack, Mepunga Sparkle and Aston Tequila collided from the 300m mark to the 250m mark. Montey Jack and Mepunga Sparkle collided at the 50m mark and approaching the winning post.

Elite Poppy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. 

All Jokes Aside – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a change of kennel.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Catching Pen Attendant, Ryan Johnson, did not act in any official capacity for this event that may have had an effect on the outcome.

All Revved Up was slow to begin.

Merl's Michu crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Toonang and Clark Road. Clark Road crossed to the rail soon after the start. All Revved Up, Toonang and Clark Road collided at the 200m mark checking All Revved Up. Winlock Squints and All Jokes Aside collided at the 200m mark. Clark Road checked off Bruree Boy at the 150m mark. Bruree Boy faltered approaching the winning post.

Merl's Michu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Tito Mojito and Supraspinatus collided soon after the start and again at the 200m mark.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Two Seasons due to the Veterinary Room being used to tend to an injured greyhound, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Two Seasons and Pop Do It were slow to begin.

Speckie McKean and Lethal Levi collided soon after the start. Speckie McKean, Lethal Levi, Magic Trap and Big Bazza collided approaching the 250m mark. Speckie McKean and Lethal Levi collided several times at the 150m mark. Dashing Diamond checked off Magic Trap at the 100m mark. Speckie McKean, Lethal Levi and Dashing Diamond collided approaching the 50m mark. Two Seasons and Magic Trap collided at the 50m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr Ned McDonald (representing trainer Mr Andrew Paraskevas) regarding the withdrawal of Shakin' Brave in this event. Mr McDonald advised that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left hock following its run at Sale on the 29th March 2019. Stewards noted Mr McDonald's explanation and revision of the Steward’s report from its engagement at Sale.

Brayden Lennox and Black Pocket was slow to begin.

Eye Got It was quick to begin.

Brayden Lennox and Love Laughing collided at the 250m mark. Love Laughing, Black Pocket, Challis Sprite and Allen Gerwen collided at the 150m mark. Black Pocket checked off Love Laughing approaching the 50m mark.

A sample was taken from Bruno He Mikado upon arrival at the course.

Kasey Anne, Scottish Pride and Mepunga Isla collided soon after the start. Kasey Anne, Scottish Pride, Almapa Sunshine and Masamune collided at the 300m mark. Bruno He Mikado and Paz collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark.

A sample was taken from Braemar Keelie upon arrival at the course.

Brittany's Angel - Late scratching at 10:38am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr D. Hills was fined $100.

Shirdale Casey and Superior Pal collided soon after the start. Peaked and Superior Pal collided at the 250m mark. Rum Dum checked off Trophy Trophy at the 150m mark. Peaked and Superior Pal collided at the 150m mark. Braemar Keelie and Peaked collided at the 100m mark checking Braemar Keelie who stumbled as a result.

Mumma's Bear and Vandebay collided soon after the start. Mindy's Girl checked off Run Fast Bonnie soon after the start. Chantilly Mack, Fran Keeping and Millie's Angel collided at the 250m mark. Chantilly Mack checked off Millie's Angel at the 50m mark.

Ultimate Cosmic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right Dew Claw and right Metacarpals. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Lexie's Boy – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a (insert reason)

Friend In Me, Lexie's Boy and Jack Skywalker collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Bring The Spring checked off Ringcraft at the 250m mark. Ringcraft and What's His Caper collided at the 200m mark. Friend In Me and Fabulous Dan collided at the 100m mark. Friend In Me and Jack Skywalker collided at the 50m mark.

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over the 350m with 5 required to trial. The winning time of the trial was 19.81:

Totally Bullish – Performed a satisfactory trial as connections wish to return the greyhound to racing from retirement. Totally Bullish trialled from box 2, weighing 34.4kg. Totally Bullish completed the trial in a time of 19.81 and was placed first winning by 2L. Totally Bullish has been cleared to race.

Boney Power – Performed a satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months after being on season. Weighing  28.4kg and beginning from box 1, Boney Power completed the trial in a time of 19.96 and was placed second beaten by 2L. Boney Power has been cleared to race.  

Tommy Boy – Performed a satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right thigh injury and change of kennel. Weighing 31.1kg and beginning from box 5, Tommy Boy completed the trial in a time of 21.11 and was placed fifth beaten by 18.25L. Tommy Boy has been not cleared to race.
