Smurf underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left medial cephalivein. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Buckle Up Spud underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture, Buckle Up Spud was humanely euthanised.

Pacific Secret was slow to begin.  

Kel Knight and Harper's Hand collided on the first turn.  Pacific Secret contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Dyna Winter, Perrie The Fairy and Winlock Strecker raced wide in the home straight.

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trail took place over 311mtrs with 4 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 18.28:             

Crackerjack Yapa finished 1st, Happy Endling finished 2nd, Ronray Legend finished 3rd, Just Faith finished 4th.–

Crackerjack Yapa – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for fail to chase. Weighing 32.5kgs and beginning from box 1 winning by a nose. Crackerjack Yapa has been not cleared to race failed to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the winning post.

Happy Endling – Was stood down from racing at Cranbourne for fail to chase. Weighing 26.6kgs and beginning from box 2 beaten by a nose. Happy Ending has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Just Faith – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a seasonal spell.  Weighing 28.8kgs and beginning from box 7 beaten by 4 lengths. Just Faith has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Ronray Legend – Was stood down from racing at Gawler for marring. Weighing 34.9kgs and beginning from box 8 beaten by ½ length. Ronray Legend has been cleared to race at all tracks.
