A pre-race sample was taken from Cruzin'.
Wally Milne was slow to begin. Yohan and Wally Milne collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Arch Rival and Hodge's Lane collided on the first turn. Mr. Diaz and Arch Rival collided approaching the home turn. Wally Milne, Stylish Bree, Mr. Diaz and Arch Rival collided approaching the home turn checking Mr. Diaz and Wally Milne. Mr. Diaz and Arch Rival collided approaching the winning post.

Satisfactory Trial Results -
Banjo's Power trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 35.7kg, the greyhound unplaced in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.17, the greyhound pulled up. Banjo's Power was Not Cleared. Banjo's Power was vetted following the trial and no apparent injury was found. Trainer Mr F.Rachele stated that he would be retiring the greyhound.
Cramping Trial:- Bushman's Destiny trialled over the 390mts from box 1, weight 39.4kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.17, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6L. Bushmans Destiny was Cleared.
