Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Agent Osti.
Good Move was slow to begin.
Cullquin Panda and Aeroplane Hank collided soon after the start. Cullquin Panda crossed to the rail approaching the 150m mark checking My Mate Wally and Agent Osti. Agent Osti and My Mate Wally collided at the 50m mark.
Stewards were alerted to an incident in the catching pen resulting in Meehan Blue sustaining an injury. After speaking to officials in the catching pen, stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was at fault and no further action was taken.
Meehan Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the testicles. A 21 stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr M. Niele, and reminded him that he must only have physical control of one greyhound at any one time during a meeting (GAR 27(2)(b)).
