Destini Florida and Broadway Polka were slow to begin.

All You Got, Emma Lakers and Bill Heeny collided soon after the start. Destini Florida and Busy Bella collided at the 250m mark. All You Got, Emma Lakers and Bloke's Advice collided at the 200m mark checking Busy Bella, All You Got and Emma Lakers. Busy Bella and Emma Lakers collided at the 150 mark.

Tim Tam Sam - Late scratching at 10:20am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Just Talking and Run Fast Bonnie collided soon after the start. Matilda Mikado, Just Talking and Run Fast Bonnie collided at the 300m mark. Super Panda, Matilda Mikado, Just Talking, Run Fast Bonnie and Lost Horizon collided at the 250m mark. Super Panda and Matilda Mikado collided at the 200m mark. Super Panda failed to pursue the lure with due commitment and eased at the 150m mark. Super Panda, Matilda Mikado and Lost Horizon collided several times from the 100m mark to approaching the winning post.

Lost Horizon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest injury and punctured webbing on the right hindleg. A 14 stand down period was imposed.

Super Panda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right toe injury/abrasion, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr A. Richardson, regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Super Panda was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Richardson pleaded guilty to the charge, Super Panda must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fortnight – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a change of trainer.

A pre-race sample was taken from Atomic Icon.

Fortnight and Atomic Icon collided soon after the start. Fortnight and Alfie Mikado collided at the 300m mark. Alfie Mikado and Atomic Icon collided at the 200m mark.

Fortnight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. 

Lock Pepper and Lucky Millie collided soon after the start. Clover Lad and Just Blacky collided at the 250m mark. Lock Pepper and Lucky Millie collided at the 250m mark. Lock Pepper checked off Just Blacky at the 100m mark.

Karise Fusileer, Rhomboid, Blazin' Ruby and Lockrod collided soon after the start checking Rhomboid. Calfuray and Early Storm collided soon after the start. Karise Fusileer, Blazin' Ruby and Lockrod collided at the 300m mark checking Karise Fusileer. Karise Fusileer, Lockrod and Calfuray collided at the 200m mark. Westworth and Ichiban Fairy collided at the 100m mark. Ichiban Fairy checked off Early Storm at the 50m mark.

Lektra Elsa, Scooby Boy, Ryben Jack and Aqualite collided soon after the start checking Scooby Boy and Aqualite. Lektra Elsa checked off Lucky Paws at the 300m mark and collided with Aqualite. Dee Dee One galloped on Ryben Jack at the 300m mark. Dee Dee One and Unexplainable collided at the 250m mark. Lektra Elsa and Aqualite collided at the 250m mark. Scooby Boy checked off Aqualite approaching the 200m mark. Dee Dee One and Unexplainable collided approaching the winning post.

Main One and Nunniong Plain were slow to begin.

Two Seasons and Bourbon An Kahn collided soon after the start. Well Armed crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Two Seasons and Undetectable and severely checking Bourbon An Kahn. Bourbon An Kahn crossed to the rail approaching the 250m mark checking Two Seasons and Nunniong Plain. Bourbon An Kahn checked off Nunniong Plain at the 50m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Buck The Jockey – placed 2nd in the event.

Destini Radar – Late scratching at 6:46am when trainer, Ms N. Lund, reported the greyhound to have a right stopper injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Bullocky Bill – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a left metacarpal injury.

Annaley Rooka was slow to begin.

Bugs Boloney and Bide Your Time collided soon after the start. Bullocky Bill crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Annaley Rooka. Lottie Biscotti and Superior Sam collided at the 250m mark. Bugs Boloney and Bide Your Time collided approaching the 200m mark. Bide Your Time crossed to the rail at the 50m mark causing Lottie Biscotti to check off Bide Your Time.

Good Move was slow to begin.

Cullquin Panda and Aeroplane Hank collided soon after the start. Cullquin Panda crossed to the rail approaching the 150m mark checking My Mate Wally and Agent Osti. Agent Osti and My Mate Wally collided at the 50m mark.

Stewards were alerted to an incident in the catching pen resulting in Meehan Blue sustaining an injury. After speaking to officials in the catching pen, stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was at fault and no further action was taken.

Meehan Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the testicles. A 21 stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr M. Niele, and reminded him that he must only have physical control of one greyhound at any one time during a meeting (GAR 27(2)(b)).

Moyarra Eclipse – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from illness.
