Akina Spot was quick to begin. Akina Indie and Master Zemnick were slow to begin. Muza's Belle lost ground approaching the first turn. Akina Spot and Zipping Kiera collided on the first turn checking Akina Spot. Muza's Belle and Master Zemnick collided on the first turn checking Muza's Belle. Akina Indie raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.
Muza's Belle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
