Vandebay and Crash Cobra were slow to begin.
Flying Danger, Bluehawk Robert and Inter Santina collided soon after the start. Vandebay and Crash Cobra collided at the 300m mark. Inter Santina checked off Maggie Mikado at the 250m mark. Crash Cobra checked off Flying Danger approaching the 150m mark. Zipping Stan and Inter Santina collided several times from approaching the 150m mark to the 100m mark. Vandebay, Crash Cobra, Big Gee Tee, Zipping Stan and Maggie Mikado collided heavily at the 50m mark severely checking Crash Cobra and Zipping Stan.
