Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Oriental Tarj and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.11pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr I. Anderson was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Spector Icon.
Penny Lane Keats was quick to begin. Parie Shiraz and Burnsy's Sam were slow to begin.
Parie Shiraz checked off Burnsy's Sam approaching the first turn.
Burnsy's Sam was vetted following an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr L. Harris, the representative of Round Nose regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Round Nose last raced on 24 May 201. Mr Harris stated that the greyhound is returning to racing from a change of kennel. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Round Nose trialled over the 311mtrs from box 1, weight 32.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 18.26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 1/4 lengths. Round Nose was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Big Butter Bean trialled over the 311mtrs from box 8, weight 30.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 18.26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3/4 length. Big Butter Bean was Cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Flat Stick trialled over the 311mtrs from box 3, weight 33.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 18.26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 26 1/4 lengths. Flat Stick was Not Cleared. Flat Stick was vetted following the trail. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
