Royal Jebrynah and Roulette Blues were slow to begin.

Meehan Poppy and Young Jebrynah collided soon after the start.  Mindy's Girl crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Meehan Pebbles.

Roger That and Ragged Warrior were slow to begin.

Zipping Simon and Ragged Warrior collided approaching the first turn.  Tanya's Way checked off Piparae on the first turn severely checking Tanya's Way which lost considerable ground checking Regal Duke, Ragged Warrior and Zipping Simon.  Roger That and Ragged Warrior collided approaching the home turn.  Regal Duke and Zipping Navy collided on the home turn.  Roger That and Ragged Warrior collided entering the home straight.

Alonso Power was slow to begin.

Buckle Up Leo and Amanda Lee collided soon after the start checking Amanda Lee.  Buckle Up Leo, Black Market and Alonso Power collided on the first turn.  Early Spring checked off Beluga Diamond approaching the home turn.  Buckle Up Leo, Black Market and Alonso Power collided on the home turn causing Black Market to race wide.

Trainer Mr M. Empson requested that Alonso Power be vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Bide Your Time, Baby Huey and Harper's hand were slow to begin.

Bide Your Time and Baby Huey collided soon after the start.  Zipping dash checked off Baby Huey approaching the first turn.  Zipping Dash and Lord Davinci collided on the first turn checking Lord Davinci.  Winlock Strecker and Lost Blue collided approaching the home turn.  Lord Davinci and Zipping Brandy collided entering the home straight checking Zipping Brandy.  Harper's Hand and Zipping Brandy raced wide in the home straight.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Lady Bang Bang.

Boone and Big Boss Bree collided approaching the first turn checking Big Boss Bree.  Zipping Benny and Minter Bee Cash collided on the first turn severely checking Zipping Benny, Zipping Buffy and Boone causing Zipping Benny and Zipping Buffy to fall.  Rocket Jax checked off Minter Bee Cash on the second turn.  Ita Louisa and Minter Bee Cash collided on the home turn. 

Zipping Benny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury and abrasions to the right and left front legs, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Buffy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Boone was vetted following the event.  It was reported that that there was no apparent injury found.

Blunderbuss was quick to begin.

Dex's Affair and Our Delta Rose collided soon after the start.  Bejarano and Dex's Affair collided approaching the first turn.  Blunderbuss, Bejarano and Pink Floyd collided entering the home straight.

Post-race samples were taken from placegetters - Bejarano (1st) and Pink Floyd (2nd).

A pre-race sample was taken from White Cynder. 

Dyna Winter, Go Go Guru and Kimani collided soon after the start.  Big Bubbles checked off Kimani on the first turn.  Tijuana Icon and Kimani collided in the home straight. 

Spazzy Blue was quick to begin.  Dyna Xerox was slow to begin.

Spazzy Blue and Rock Johnson collided approaching the first turn checking Rock Johnson and Dyna Xerox.  Fat Rhino and Rock Johnson collided in the back straight.  Spazzy Blue and Fat Rhino collided in the back straight.  Piccolo Fratello and Rock Johnson collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.  Fat Rhino raced wide in the home straight.  

Let's Run was quick to begin.

Bigtime Bruce crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Penny Worth and Sabjorn Bale.  Penny Worth, Sabjorn Bale and Bear Left collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Roland View clipped the heels of Sabjorn Bale approaching the home turn.  Maderra raced wide in the home straight.

Problem Solved was quick to begin.  Scooby Boy and Pistol were slow to begin.

Sub Zero Magic, Pistol and Red Queen collided on the first turn checking Pistol and Red Queen.  Buckle Up Spud and Ebonique collided approaching the home turn.  Pistol and Red Queen collided several times approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  Scooby Boy and Problem Solved raced wide in the home straight.

Dyna Kara and Miss Dozer were slow to begin.

Kel Knight crossed in approaching the first turn checking Go Zippy Go.  Full Moon and Go Zippy Go collided on the first turn checking Go Zippy Go.  Why Not Leo and Trap Queen collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Oriental Tarj and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.11pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr I. Anderson was fined the sum of $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Spector Icon.

Penny Lane Keats was quick to begin.  Parie Shiraz and Burnsy's Sam were slow to begin.

Parie Shiraz checked off Burnsy's Sam approaching the first turn.

Burnsy's Sam was vetted following an incident in the catching pen.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr L. Harris, the representative of Round Nose regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Round Nose last raced on 24 May 201. Mr Harris stated that the greyhound is returning to racing from a change of kennel.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Round Nose trialled over the 311mtrs from box 1, weight 32.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 18.26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 1/4 lengths. Round Nose was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Big Butter Bean trialled over the 311mtrs from box 8, weight 30.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 18.26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3/4 length. Big Butter Bean was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Flat Stick trialled over the 311mtrs from box 3, weight 33.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 18.26, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 26 1/4 lengths. Flat Stick was Not Cleared. Flat Stick was vetted following the trail. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
