A pre-race sample was taken from Black Market.
Alonso Power was slow to begin.
Buckle Up Leo and Amanda Lee collided soon after the start checking Amanda Lee. Buckle Up Leo, Black Market and Alonso Power collided on the first turn. Early Spring checked off Beluga Diamond approaching the home turn. Buckle Up Leo, Black Market and Alonso Power collided on the home turn causing Black Market to race wide.
Trainer Mr M. Empson requested that Alonso Power be vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
