Jennifer Eccles was quick to begin.  Dyna Alexia, Macs Road and Having Words collided on the first turn checking Having Words and Dyna Alexia, Dyna Alexia contacted the running rail and lost considerable ground as a result.  Buck Tooth Bling raced erratically approaching the home turn and lost ground.

Dyna Alexia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Buck Tooth Bling was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 3, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. N. McRae the trainer of Buck Tooth Bling regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn and its erratic racing pattern approaching the home turn.  Stewards deemed the performance of Buck Tooth Bling unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Buck Tooth Bling must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Hopkins the trainer of Eminence Keroma regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Eminence Keroma last raced on 09/09/18.  Ms. Hopkins stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hock injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. McMahon the trainer of Oni regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Oni last raced on 28/09/18.  Mr. McMahon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a seasonal spell.

Mr. J. Clay the trainer of Banjo's Affair declared a new weight of 37.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Banjo's Affair last raced at 36.5kg.

Vienna Gypsy was quick to begin.  Banjo's Affair was slow to begin.  Holly's Affair crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Oni.  Tegxcellent, Eminence Keroma and Big Brute collided on the first turn checking Eminence Keroma and Big Brute.  Vienna Gypsy crossed out on the home turn.  Vienna Gypsy and Banjo's Affair raced wide in the home straight. Tegxcellent and Princess America collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Dion was quick to begin.  Dybala galloped on Miss Inquisitive approaching the first turn.  Dybala and Zipping Amy collided several times on the first turn.  Miss Inquisitive was checked off Dybala approaching the home turn.  Miss Inquisitive and Zipping Amy collided on the home turn.

Line Trike and Superior Indi collided soon after the start.  Line Trike and Fifty Dollar collided on the first turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  How High Jazz and Lemonade Kid collided approaching the home turn.

Aston Valetta and Eye Will Reign collided soon after the start checking Eye Will Reign.  Aston Valetta and Woody's My Name collided approaching the first turn checking Woody's My Name and severely checking Empty Chamber which stumbled.  Eye Will Reign and Aston Valetta collided on the first turn.  Fend Off and Annabelle Lee collided approaching the home turn checking Annabelle Lee.  Aston Valetta and Locked In collided entering the home straight.  Empty Chamber raced wide in the home staight.

Dream Gem was quick to begin.  Romany Girl, Dr. Condor, Percy's Empire, Silvio Dante and Dream Gem collided soon after the start.  Dr. Condor was checked off Percy's Empire in the home straight.  Dr. Condor and Sergeant Schultz raced wide in the home straight.

Gotta Bandit and Star Hennessy were slow to begin.  Elfstar, Shanlyn Magic, Shanlyn Georgie and Star Hennessy collided soon after the start.  Lightning Boxy, Rythym Taboo, Elfstar and Shanlyn Magic collided approaching the first turn.  Go Commando, Rythym Taboo and Shanlyn Magic collided on the first turn checking Go Commando and Rythym Taboo.  Rythym Taboo galloped on Lightning Boxy approaching the home turn.

Gotta Bandit was vetted following the event on the request of the trainer.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind toe, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Snoop A Loop was quick to begin.  Jebrynah Helios and Snoop A Loop collided on the first turn.  Lucky Tetris was checked off Snoop A Loop in the home straight.  Monster Machine raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Superior Primo.

Superior Primo was slow to begin.  Spolly James and Water Pistol collided soon after the start.  Hail Galo Girl and Strike Power collided soon after the start.  Hail Galo Girl, Manny Allen, Big Bazza, Water Pistol, Superior Primo and Dr. Pixie collided on the first turn checking Big Bazza and severely checking Dr. Pixie which lost ground as a result. 

Dr. Pixie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Thumbs.

Almapa Gallucci and Ebb collided approaching the first turn.  Pink Tiara was checked off Dr. Shreds approaching the first turn.  Thumbs and Pink Tiara collided on the first turn checking Velocity Whisper.  Almapa Gallucci and Dr. Shreds collided approaching the home turn checking Almapa Gallucci which subsequently pulled up.

Almapa Gallucci was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
