A pre race sample was taken from Rocky Rooster.
Sunningdale, Pop Do It and Super Stoked collided soon after the start checking Pop Do It. Rocky Rooster checked off Seabrook Indi approaching the first turn. Rocky Rooster and Blue Magnum collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Rocky Rooster tired over the concluding stages.
Rocky Rooster was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadriceps and a sprain to the right tarsal, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
