Steward's Report
Twenty Tamar was quick to begin. Avatar Minty, Xtreme Notice and Twenty Tamar collided soon after the start. Dewana Sprite, Die Laughing, Xtreme Notice, Magic Lantern and Chiseller collided on the first turn severely checking Magic Lantern causing Die Laughing to fall. Xtreme Notice lost ground on the home turn.
Xtreme Notice was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured hock, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Die Laughing was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Amber's Dolly trialled over the 425m from box 1, weight 26.9, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.08, the greyhound won by a margin of 2 lengths. Amber's Dolly was Cleared.
Track Curator Mr Michael Pell advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on 22 December, 2018.
