Steward's Report
The outside temperature at race start time was 30.5 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 19.0 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bound After Gold.
Turbo Tony was a late scratching at 7:37pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to diarrhoea. A5 day stand down period was imposed.
Dyna Hendry was slow to begin.
Born Jamie checked off Bound After Gold on the first turn. Bound After Gold and Foxy Whip collided on the first turn causing Foxy Whip and White Fernando to collide, White Fernando raced wide and lost ground as a result. Bound After Gold checked off Data Star approaching the second turn. Born Jamie checked off Data Star on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
A post-race sample was taken from Dyna Hendry - unplaced in the event.
