Steward's Report
The outside temperature at race start time was 25.5 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 17.0 degrees.
A pre-race sample was taken from Diego Fernando.
Mahjong World and Dyna Artist collided soon after the start checking Dyna Artist. Dyna Eva, Just Nimble It and Akina Dee Jay collided on the first turn checking Akina Dee Jay and Quara's Flick. Gracioso faltered on the first turn and pulled up as a result. Akina Dee Jay and Quara's Flick collided on the second turn and again in the back straight checking Quara's Flick. Diego Fernando checked off Akina Dee Jay on the third turn checking Dyna Eva. Dyna Eva checked off Diego Fernando on the home turn.
Gracioso was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle and left chest muscle injurers, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
