The outside temperature at race start time was 27.7 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 18.0 degrees.
Lucy's Milo was a late scratching at 3.03pm due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Dyna Alia and Lockrod collided on the first turn checking Lockrod. Shady Tex and Dyna Alia collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Shady Tex and Lockrod collided on the home turn checking Shady Tex.
