A pre race sample was taken from Calcaneal.

Faraday was slow to begin. Electric Hippy and Superior Primo collided soon after the start. Arthur Watts and All Revved Up collided soon after the start. Arthur Watts galloped on Electric Hippy at the 300m mark. Faraday and Arthur Watts collided at the 200m mark. All Revved Up and Wayne Kenneth collided at the 150m mark checking Wayne Kenneth. Millie's Angel and Wayne Kenneth collided approaching the 50m mark checking Wayne Kenneth.

Wayne Kenneth was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
