A pre-race sample was taken from Galaxy Star upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Viewing.
Three Scoops was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Dr. Watson lost ground approaching the first turn. Bowon Approach, Jupiter Jones and Philo Bale collided on the first turn checking Jupiter Jones. Three Scoops galloped on Bowon Approach approaching the home turn causing Three Scoops to stumble.
Dr. Watson was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf injury and left fibula strain, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
