Steward's Report
Shafira was a late scratching at 10.08am due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Keep 'Em Keen.
Weeona Garf and Smoke Signals were slow to begin.
Keep 'Em Keen and Sharpo collided on the first turn checking Keep 'Em Keen and severely checking Sharpo which stumbled and lost considerable ground. Keep 'Em Keen and She's Our Poppy collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Sharpo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
