Steward's Report
Tiggerlong Zorro was quick to begin. Fabelite and Half A Minya collided approaching the first turn, checking Fabelite. Tiggerlong Zorro and Militant Spirit collided approaching the first turn, checking Tiggerlong Zorro. You Never Know checked off Aston Milla approaching the home turn. Fabelite and Militant Spirit raced wide on the home turn. Militant Spirit and Half A Minya collided in the home straight, checking Half A Minya.
You Never Know was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg triangle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr Ken Hunt, trainer of Militant Spirit which lead before racing wide, explained that it was the greyhound's first outing at Horsham and in his opinion would benefit from the experience. Militant Spirit was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
