Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Whyte the representative for Weeona Wilbur regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Weeona Wilbur last raced on 12/08/18. Mr. Whyte stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right stopper bone injury. Mr. Whyte declared a new weight of 32.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Weeona Wilbur last raced at 31.1kg.
Weeona Wilbur was slow to begin. Weeona Wilbur and Cosmic Sole collided soon after the start. Taxing and Vitaliser collided soon after the start. Superior Indi was checked off Tinderella approaching the first turn. Taxing was checked off Vitaliser approaching the first turn. Cosmic Sole, Tinderella and Weeona Wilbur collided approaching the first turn checking Ebonique and severely checking Tinderella, Superior Indi was checked as a result. Cosmic Sole crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Weeona Wilbur and causing Gee Dalton to gallop on Cosmic Sole. Superior Indi and Tinderella collided approaching the home turn. Gee Dalton and Ebonique collided on the home turn.
