An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Kraken Dust engaged in this event on 3 December 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Mr Ian Fisher, representative of Pietra Allen, declared a new weight of 26.6 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Pietra Allen last raced at 27.8 kgs.
Pietra Allen and Why Not Fletch collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Pietra Allen, Why Not Fletch and You Blue collided on the first turn, checking Why Not Fletch and You Blue. Why Not Fletch galloped on Crymelon Phantom on the first turn, checking Why Not Fletch, Crymelon Phantom and Liberal Nunnio. Dyna Frankie checked off Kraken Dust approaching the home turn. Liberal Nunnio checked off Pietra Allen in the home straight.
