Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Ben Divirgilio, the trainer of Star Reiko, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Star Reiko last raced on 11 August 2018. Mr Divirgilio stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal and change of trainer.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tomassi.
I'm Tipping Don was quick to begin. Tyche Diamond was slow to begin. Star Reiko and I'm Tipping Don collided on the first turn, checking Star Reiko, I'm Tipping Don and Tyche Diamond.
Almani Tee Rex was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right hindleg groin injuries, a three day stand down period was imposed.
