Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Half A Minya.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr Peter Carter did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Close Enough was slow to begin. Pyrenees Inferno and Chrissy Pee collided soon after the start, checking Chrissy Pee. Pyrenees Inferno, Half A Minya, Carson County and Close Enough collided on the first turn, checking Carson County. Carson County and Close Enough collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Half A Minya and Carson County collided approaching the winning post.
Carson County was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg triangle injury. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Joshua Formosa, the representative of the greyhound Carson County, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Following Stewards' observations of both the side and head-on footage and Mr Formosa's explanation, Stewards took no further action.
