Yogi Mikado, Mepunga Debbie and Seabrook Eb collided soon after the start, checking Mepunga Debbie and Seabrook Eb. King of Merrimu, South of Eden, Folding Green and Detroit Wally collided soon after the start, checking Folding Green. South of Eden checked off Yogi Mikado approaching the first turn.
