Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. Dennis Kerr, the trainer of Mighty Barcia, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mighty Barcia last raced on 13th August 2018. Mr Kerr stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a left hock injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mighty Barcia
Dyna Hunter and Wharfies Girl were quick to begin. Circus Oasis and Honcho Monelli were slow to begin.
Circus Oasis checked off the heels of Mighty Barcia on the first turn. Veracity checked off the heels of Mighty Barcia on the first turn and collided with Wharfies Girl. Veracity and Wharfies Girl collided approaching the home turn. Honcho Monelli shifted out and raced wide on the home turn. Mighty Barcia tired over the concluding stages.
