Steward's Report
Swift Ruby was a late scratching at 10.51am due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr W. Robertson was fined the sum of $100. Stewards spoke to Mr W Robertson after he arrived on-course after the appointed closure of kennelling time. After taking into consideration the circumstances outlined by Mr Robertson, Stewards lifted the penalty on Swift Ruby and will revoke the $100 fine once Mr Robertson provides documentation supporting his explanation.
Azure Dragon and Early Storm collided at the 250m mark. Porscha's Girl and Superior Bont collided at the 200m mark.
Porscha's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Superior Bont - the winner of the event.
